It's official, Jake Locker's back at quarterback for the Titans and not that he is bad, he's just rusty. I am hesitant to pick the Fins in this game, if only because being a longtime Miami fan, one loss (last week in Indianapolis) often seems to lead to more with the Dolphins, and I worry they will become the same ole', same ole' Fins.

After wrestling with it in my mind for a couple of days I believe Miami will get back to winning. If not, I may not back them again this season.

Dolphins 23 - Titans 17

As the 4-4 Miami Dolphins prepare for their home game against the 3-6 Tennesee Titans, word comes that the Titans are more than likely set to start QB Jake Locker on Sunday. 

I'm not sure, right now, if that is good news for the Fins, or bad news.  Locker was putting up decent numbers before he got injured and missed 5 games, though Matt Hassellback has been playing decently enough to win. 

Hass has not been the "bad quarterback" that some have labled him with, but he's not who you would necessarily choose to start at QB, if you had someone better. 

During Locker's playing time earlier this season, he tallied up a 1-3 record.  Hassellback compiled 2 wins, with a 2-6 record. 

As Dolphins fans, we really need to be concerned about our team's corner and safety play, because it looked horrible during the Indy loss, and I have to say watching Andrew Luck pile up the yardage, with 433 yards total (rookie record) against our D-backs would have really had me upset, if it wasn't for the fact that my girlfriend was getting ready to give birth to my 5 lb, 10 oz. baby girl, Kyleigh Lynn Malkin.

Of course, staying on the old "Ryan Tannehill Bandwagon", the Fins rookie quarterback had no interceptions once again, a TD and just under 300 yards.

The Miami Dolphins are playing the newly revamped Indianapolis Colts.  Peyton Manning isn't there anymore, but this team still has won 4 games through half of the season with rookie star QB and first overall pick Andrew Luck. 

I'm not taking anything away from Luck...I believe he is going to be a great quarterback, but let's get real.  This season's Colts have only played two teams with anywhere near a good defense: Chicago Bears and New York Jets (when they played them).  Indy lost both of those games.

The Miami Dolphins don't allow any single running back to rack up 100 yards.  Indy's leading running back, at least in terms of scoring, is the quaterback.  That's not something to hang your hat on.  Miami's running game may have taken a step back in recent games, but the Colts have given up an average of 137.4 yards per game.  This could mean a big game for Reggie Bush. 

Also, the Fins defense has sacked the quarterback 22 times this season.  That means a potentially rough game for rookie Luck. 

We don't know yet whether Dolphins' injured QB Ryan Tannehill is playing Sunday, but Matt Moore, if needed, is a more than ample backup. 

Remember defensive back Vontae Davis, the former first round draft pick from Miami?  He plays for the Colts these days and you just know that Vontae would be itching to snatch a couple of INTs from the Dolphins.  Unfortunately for him, he won't have that chance.  Vontae's out with an injury. 

Put that all together and I'm saying the Fins rule on Sunday.

Dolphins 28 - Colts 17

With home games left against the following teams: Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins are offering a 2 day sale on game tickets.

From Noon on Wednesday through Noon on Friday, the team is offering "Fee Free" tickets. 

It's an effort to drum up even more of a home field advantage at Sun Life Stadium.  Dolphins officials tell us that in the middle of a win streak, they "need to keep the momentum moving forward", and there is nothing like a stadium full of fans.

But you have to purchase the tickets during the 48 hour time frame.

Miami 30 - New York Jets 9

Dolphins are now 4-3 and second in the AFC East.

Tell me you thought the same thing: "Oh know, down goes Tannehill, bring on another loss against the New York Jets". 

Rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has caught fire in recent weeks, surprising many football pundits and so-called "experts", has played above expectations.  So when he was sacked about 5 minues into Sunday's game at Metlife Stadium, panic set in, at least in my mind. 

Tanny came out of the game with knee and quadriceps injuries, and never went back in.  Later, he said that he could have come back in, if it were an emergency. 

In came last year's Dolphin's MVP Matt Moore.  He played solid football, moving the ball and setting up scoring drives, without making any big mistakes like turnovers. 

The Fins scored 10 points before Moore came in (thanks to horrible offensive play and turnovers by the Jets) and another 20 with Moore behind center (although 7 points were scored off a blocked punt-turned TD).  

I'm not starting a QB controversy here, or even suggesting that Moore should be given back the keys to the offense, like last year when Chad Henne went down to injury.  But, how many times have watched an NFL team's quarterback get knocked out of a game and some inexperienced guy comes in and stinks it up. 

We don't have that problem with Moore on the roster.  Matt Moore is not a great QB or even someone who will get you deep in the playoffs, but he is a seasoned veteran who has never complained about holding a clip board. 

So, congrats to Moore, Reggie Bush, who collected his playback after weeks of back and forth verbal shots with Jets players and coach Rex Ryan, that Dolphins Defense, which seems like it can shut down everybody and congrats to the Miami Dolphins.  You put on one heck of a show. 

Now, get Tanny back and let's win some more games.

But, if he doesn't come back right away, I won't worry too much, and neither should you.

"Where's Frances from Real Radio?" 

If that's what you're wondering, I don't have the answer.  Perhaps she's concerned about her hair being messed up by the wind gusts. 

Hey, if she doesn't want to do a video and make her pick, that's okay. 

Wait!  Maybe she's concerned about a possible backlash from ornery Jets fans, if she takes the Dolphins for the win in New Jersey on Sunday. 

Well, I'm not afraid of you, Jets fans, and that's why I can feel positive posting right here that I believe Miami will win in "Fins-Jets Take Two". 

1) Recent history is on the Dolphins' side: They have never suffered a season sweep versus the Jets under New York's head coach Rex Ryan. The team will be motivated not to let their biggest rival accomplish that feat.

2) Miami is a healthy team, with only defensive back Richard Marshall likely to miss the game.  Nolan Carrol would come in as his replacement once again and he did a good job against Cincinnati and St. Louis.  Dolphins' defensive tackle Randy Starks will be in the game.  There were some concerns when fans learned he missed Wednesday's practice, but it was for a "non-football personal" reasons and returned to practice on Thursday. 

3) The Jets have Sanchez and Tebow at QB.

4) New York is missing several key cogs, including Durell Revis, who was injured during the "Fins-Jets I" matchup in Week 3. You remember, the one in which the Dolphins might have won, if not for two missed field goals.  By the way, Dan Carpenter has a great history of making kicks when playing the Jets on the road.

5) The Dolphins have had an extra week to prepare for the Jets, coming off a bye week.  New York has not yet had its bye. 

5) The Jets have Sanchez and Tebow at QB.

6) Miami has QB Ryan Tannehill, who already plays better than the "Sanchize"

This is an extremely important game for the Dolphins (aren't they all?).  The Fins are already 2nd in the AFC East, right under the Patriots, who they still have to play twice.  A loss for the Jets would give them 5 on the season, while Miami will still only have 3 and, if they continue to perform well, could potentially wind up in the playoffs. 

The division, once one of the best, is now considered by many to be one of the worst in the NFL. Perfect time for a team everyone counted out at the start of the season to complete a coup. 

There are also articles in which experts are calling the entire entire AFC "repulsive".  Here, Fox Sports' Peter Schrager picks the Dolphins as the team in the conference to "step up" by the end of the season.  He notes that if the playoffs began today, Miami would qualify as the AFC's second wild-card team.

That brings us to my pick for Sunday:

Miami 17 - Jets 10

It should be interesting to see how young Tannehill performs the first time in his pro career that he goes against the same team twice.
